GCSE Maths in Action: When the Uncertainty Principle Goes to 11 (…or The Mathematics of Heavy Metal)

Discover how sine waves underpin every chugging guitar riff, what trigonometry has to do with Iron Maiden, and why metal heads in mosh pits are such a great example of statistics in action with Professor Moriarty at GCSE Maths in Action.  Prof. Moriarty and the rest of our team will introduce students to brand new topics, extending their understanding and fuelling their enthusiasm for maths.

At GCSE Maths in Action students will enjoy six lively and informative sessions that will enrich their understanding by demonstrating the way classroom mathematics is used in the real world.
