Dr Peter Lovatt is a Reader in Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, where he runs the dance psychology lab. His research looks at the effects of rhythm on the brain – from lifting mood to improving outcomes for individuals with neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s. He has combined his two passions, psychology and dance, to produce some groundbreaking and fascinating research. If you have seen Peter before you will know that he is also the most inspiring personality around – his personal story, enthusiasm and energy are guaranteed to motivate your students, and we are absolutely delighted to welcome him back on December 3rd in London.
