A ticket is required for every student and teacher attending events, whether at a venue or online. We offer one free teacher ticket for every 10 tickets purchased.
For venue-based events, we only accept bookings from schools or further education colleges, with a minimum of 5 tickets per booking.
Bookings for venue-based events may be amended up to 45 days before the event.
Bookings may not be cancelled or amended within 45 days of a venue-based event.
Places are only secured when we receive your payment. We therefore recommend making payment as soon as possible to secure your booking.
For online events, we welcome bookings from individual students and parents as well as from schools and colleges.
Bookings are only confirmed when payment has been received. We recommend paying by credit or debit card to immediately secure the tickets, but schools and colleges may choose to pay by BACS if needed. Payment must be received before the event in order to access the live stream.
Once confirmed, bookings cannot be cancelled or amended.
Tickets for venue-based events, and access information for online events, will be emailed to bookers two weeks prior to the event.
At the Venue
As coach parking is limited at some venues, we recommend that you allow plenty of time on arrival to check in before the start of the event.
On arrival at the venue, your group will be checked in and seated. We do not allocate seats in advance.
Refreshments are not provided. Due to time constraints, we recommend that students bring a packed lunch, which can be eaten at the venue.
Events may be recorded by us for promotional purposes and/or live streaming. Cameras will only capture the stage, but students will be audible if asking questions. Students may ask questions online in text form if preferred.
Online events are broadcast live. We do our best to minimise technical problems, but cannot guarantee that there will be no disruption.
We are not responsible for technical problems at the customer’s end. We recommend that schools check their equipment and internet connection in advance of the event.
All online events will be available to view on demand for a week following the live broadcast.
For copyright reasons, no video or audio recordings are permitted in the venue or of online broadcasts.
All attendees at our events, both in person and online, are expected to adhere to a code of conduct. Any behaviour which is disruptive or abusive towards other attendees or event staff will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject any participants who breach the code of conduct. In such cases, no refund will be offered. Any determination of a breach of the code of conduct will be made by us and is final.
An event may be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of cancellation, any refund will be limited to the ticket price.
Should any venue-based events be unable to go ahead as a result of Covid-19 or any other reason beyond our control, all ticket holders will be offered the option of a full refund, a partial refund in exchange for online tickets, or a transfer to a future date. Our standard policy is that bookings cannot be amended or cancelled within 45 days of an event. However, if you are unable to attend due to Covid, e.g. due to localised travel restrictions or because you are required to isolate, you may request a refund or transfer to online attendance.
While we make every effort to ensure that the speaker information given at the time of booking is accurate, we reserve the right to substitute speakers in situations beyond our control.
