Jock McFadyen is a contemporary painter whose quirky, thought-provoking and sometimes gritty urban scenes offer a serious comment on life in modern Britain.  He works from an East End studio. Jock was appointed Artist in Residence of the National Gallery in 1981 and was elected a Royal Academician of the Royal Academy of Arts in 2012.
