Dr Dina Gusejnova is Lecturer in Modern History at the University of Sheffield. She has previously taught at Queen Mary University of London, UCL, where she held a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at the Centre for Transnational History, and at the University of Chicago. She is currently working on a history of statelessness in the twentieth century.  Her other research interest is 20th century German political, cultural and intellectual history in transnational perspective.
